Autism Speaker and Lunch
We are hosting a lunch talk about Autism. Families who experience this will be sharing their stories as well as some professionals. We want to give people eyes into the world of autism as well as strategies to best interact with individuals. We are inviting families and friends to become educated and help us teach acceptance and understanding.
All the community is invited to participate in a blood drive hosted at New Life. This important ministry serves the needs of many in the Chicagoland area. They need you!
S.U.P.P.L.Y. Easter Breakfast
All are welcome to join us for a fun breakfast before or after service. Breakfast is hosted by our high school youth. This free will offering fundraiser will help support their fellowship activities, more specifically the group going to the ELCA National Youth Gathering in Texas this summer.
Vacation Bible School
Save the date!
All youth age 3 – 5th grade in the community are invited to join us for a week of adventure!
Venture onto an uncharted island where kids are rescued by Jesus! Anchor kids in the truth that Jesus carries them through every storm in life. They’ll learn to hold onto God’s promises when they are lonely, they worry, they struggle, do wrong, and feel powerless.
There will be bible stories, science, song, games, crafts and of course food for our hungry bunch of adventurers.
On Sunday stop by the Fellowship Hall after worship to visit with a New Life volunteer who will fully explain our campaign, answer people’s questions and to ask you to prayerfully consider your campaign commitments. There will be refreshments available so you can enjoy fellowship with us at the same time and in the same place.
If you are not able to join us at church, volunteers will be visiting members in their homes and/or by phone starting on Sunday. The goal is for everyone to have the opportunity to participate in this important effort.
Please join our growing list of supporters and do your part to help assure our campaign’s success. We know that everyone has different gifts and that every gift makes a difference as we imagine our future together.
