Recycling – Caring for God’s Creation

Now thru January 23

In the process of celebrating this season, we may have come across strings of lights that no longer twinkle and shine. Don’t throw them away, recycle them! Help us care for God’s creation by keeping them out of landfills. There is a box in our fellowship hall collecting them. LIMITED TIME!

In addition, we will also be collecting greeting cards to be recycled at St. Jude’s Ranch for Children in Nevada. Collection box is in fellowship hall. No Hallmark, American Greetings, or Disney cards can be accepted due to trademarks.

God’s Global Barnyard

December

While this offering has ended, the gifts received live on through the animals purchased for families around the world. These animals provide food to eat, fertilizer to grow crops and products to sell at the market. With one gift, a family can start to escape
the cycle of hunger and poverty for good.

Adults purchased: 28 sets of chicks, 17 sets of bees, 7 pigs, 7 goats, 4 sheep, 2 fish ponds and 2 cows with their $3180 donations.

Our youth also participated through their weekly offerings and purchased: 1 set of chicks, 2 roosters, 1 set of bees, 1 pig, 1 goat, 2 shares of cow and 1 share of oxen & plow with their $346 donations.
