Our Story – Sanctuary Lamp

You may remember when we were able to gather in person, inside for worship; this lamp hung in our sanctuary.

It was taken down for safe keeping during the building repairs. But it has been cleaned up and rehung in our sanctuary space! Thank you to Don Costello who cared for it.

This everlasting light was given by Russ Sandberg in memory of his son, Russ Jr. who died unexpectedly while a student at Eurkea College in 1983. The inscription reads, “Give to the Glory of God – April 13, 1984”.

Russ served in many capacities while a member at New Life, including serving on the Church Council. Russ passed away 12/29/94.
