Our youth education and ministries are designed to capture the interests of each age group by using different approaches to teaching God’s stories and building relationships with each other. We want to support each child’s faith journey through small group learning, fellowship, and service as well as being part of the family that worships together.
Youth Education for 3 year olds - 5th graders
This ministry uses a curriculum with varied activities like art, cooking, drama, and science to tell and teach the stories of the bible. 2nd graders receive their very own bible and are taught how to use it. 4th graders are prepared to receive their 1st Communion
Youth Education for 6th - 8th graders
This ministry is designed to prepare youth for the Rite of Confirmation. Martin Luther's Small Catechism, Lutheran Theology and the Old and New Testament provide the framework for the lessons. It is purposeful in focusing on learning, fellowship, and service to strengthen faith formation. Families come together for dinner before the youth meet in small groups. Families continue the faith formation at home through the use of a program called Faith 5: Share, Read, Tell, Pray and Bless.
SUPPLY Youth Education for High School
With youth from a wide range of area high schools, this group comes together to support and encourage each other and discuss their lives in the context of God's word. This group bonds with many service opportunities, fundraisers, events and mission trips.
