Faith formation at New Life aims to spark faith for life! For youth, this happens with Sparks & Explosions.

Sparks:  shorter experiences (20-25 min) during the worship hour with fellow youth

Explosions:  special experiences (1 hour/whole worship hour) with fellow youth

Worship:  youth worship with whole congregation and everyone enjoys a worship flow made with youth in mind

Why?

We value youth learning about the Bible in age-specific ways.

We value a worship experience that is intentionally crafted for a multi-age, multi generational community.

We value a wide range of faith formation, from service to worship to fellowship to learning.  So we intentionally build a flexible approach to faith formation for youth at New Life.  We aim to spark faith for life!

During the Christian Education year (roughly September through May):

–every Friday, Sunday’s specific experience for each age group is emailed in the Friday Life Line.

–every Sunday, the specific experiences will be posted in the narthex

Youth Education for 3 year olds - 5th graders

Faith Formation for our elementary aged children is wide-ranging. Youth and families can expect Bible lessons, crafts, games, music and more. The group that gathers can sometimes be a large group of 3years through 5th grade or a smaller group of just older elementary. It is flexible and adaptive with one goal: a positive, Christian experience that leaves a smile on the face!

Youth Education/Confirmation for 6th - 8th graders

It is focused on learning, fellowship, and service. Throughout the year, H2H family dinners provide a time of food, fellowship and deepening faith together Meets on Sunday mornings at 10:15 am.
